.....a city that knows how to celebrate our nation's birthday.

Come to the party !

Once again this year Pleasant Hill will be the place to be on July Fourth for a fun and exciting day of festivities. Last year it seemed as though the whole Pleasant Hill community turned out for the festivities, and we were all treated to a sensational day.

Every year our goal is to outdo the previous year and to present our community with the best ever fun-filled day of celebration. Last year the commemoration of our nation's birthday certainly kept up that tradition. We want to thank all the participants who made it such a special holiday: the runners in the 5K Fun Run, the parade entrants who collectively made for a fabulous parade, the fine entertainment and games provided in the park, the Diablo Valley College Pops Band who provided live music during the fireworks, and of course the fireworks itself. All were superb - all helped provide us with a memorable experience, and all deserve our sincere thanks. And last but definitely not least, we thank the many thousands of enthusiastic spectators who added a spirit of excitement and festiveness to this special day.

Everyone is a patriot on this special day

The July 4th events are brought to you by the PLEASANT HILL FOURTH OF JULY COMMISSION, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to presenting a full day of activities to help residents of Pleasant Hill celebrate America's independence, its birthday, and its grandest holiday. This year the Commission is pleased to present the community with another July 4th to remember.
