My
team of volunteers and I are pleased to present you
with our annual Fourth of July festivities. Our aim
is to serve this great
community of ours and honor our nation's birthday
by organizing a full day of activities
that will be interesting and fun for all generations.
We'll
start the day with a 5K Fun Run, immediately followed
by a really great parade. After that there is the
Party in the Park, with games, contests, live entertainment,
good food, and non-stop activities for the youngsters.
And finally, we cap it all off with a fireworks spectacular
at the College Park High School soccer field. Of
course all of our events are free of charge. All
of our commission members are volunteers, and all
of our expenses are paid by contributions from within
our community.
We
promise a truly memorable day, and all of it right
here in our neighborhood. We wish you a happy and
safe fourth of july, and we look forward to seeing
you and sharing the fun and excitement with you.
