Parade Participant Registration Form

Welcome to the parade registration page. Please fill in this form and then click on the 'SUBMIT' button when completed. Fields marked with * are required. We will then register you and will assign a place for your entry in the parade line-up.

There is a registration fee for all parade entrants. The registration fee is tiered as follows"

Please note that any entry registered after June 21 will not be included in the parade program that is published and distributed prior to the parade. Also please note that June 30 is the final registration cutoff date. No entries can be accepted after that date.

For a few invited dignitaries the above fee is waived. Please contact the Parade Chairman if there is any question regarding the registration fee. Additional details about the parade assembly area, arrival time, parking areas, etc. are all available here on this website, just click on PARADE ENTRANTS. *Please describe what your entry will look like and how it will be decorated. We encourage you to be creative and to make use of this year's parade theme 'LET'S PARTY - SMALL TOWN FUN FOR A BIG NATION CELEBRATION'.

Describe any special needs that we should consider when we determine the parade line-up:

*PARADE SCRIPT: The announcer will read this script on the public address system as your entry passes by the announcer station. Use this field to tell us exactly what you would like the parade announcer to say about your entry. Use approximately 60 - 80 words. Remember to write your script in the third person ("they" instead of "we", etc.).

Important Notice:

During the parade, all units must keep moving in a forward direction. If you have an act or a routine, please keep it moving forward. There will not be a review stand, but we will have a parade announcer near the mid-point on Crescent Drive.
 
Please do not throw anything from a moving vehicle.  Throwing items from a moving vehicle is potentially dangerous to parade spectators, especially children. If you plan to distribute any items, including candy, they can be handed out by a person walking along with your unit.
 
No alcohol is allowed during the parade.

Trophies: Two trophies will be awarded to the entries that best represent our parade theme. Our theme this year is "LET'S PARTY - SMALL TOWN FUN FOR A BIG NATION CELEBRATION". If you want your entry to be considered for either of these awards, please indicate your choice below.
Mayor's Trophy (automotive or towed theme-oriented entry)
Commissioners' Trophy (non-automotive/towed theme-oriented trophy)

Green Oak Award: New this year! This award goes to the entry that most creatively educates and inspires the public to protect our earth.
