Businesses
or organizations wishing to participate in the 4th of July activities
at the park must offer a free game or activity.
The presentation or activity should be patriotic,
fun, entertaining
or educational for those attending, especially
children, and cannot be in conflict with commission goals,
purposes or activities.
Promotional handouts
regarding the business or organization may be distributed at the
booth location, and you may display your
organization's
banner at the booth, but items or services may not be offered
for sale. Donations or other contributions may not be solicited.
The park activities begin at 10:30 am and last till approximtely
2:30 pm.
Park
booths are
encouraged to incorporate the 2008 parade theme:
"Let's
Party - Small Town Fun For A Big Nation Celebration "
We
wish to express our sincere thanks to all the participants who had
a booth at the park at our 2007 celebration. You all contributed
toward making it a wonderful event, and we hope to see you back again
in 2008. It is never too early to register for 2008.
To
reserve your space in the park, please fill in and submit the registration
form below. Park space is available on a
first-come first-served basis and is at the discretion of the Pleasant
Hill Fourth
of July Commission. Entry deadline is Friday, June 13th.
The fee
for Participants is $50 ($25 for non-profit organizations) plus
any permit costs required
by local or state authorities. Space will be about 20 by 20 feet.
Your
organization is responsible for all supplies, materials, and manpower
necessary to conduct the activity, including erecting a tent, booth,
or table/chair combination in the allocated space, and any need for
electricity.
Please
take responsiblity for the allocated area from start to finish and
leave the park in the same condition found.
